Complete Skateboards - What’s a deal?
Executive summary by Steve cave

complete Skateboard
If you’ve bought a complete skateboard lately, I mean a quality complete skateboard, you’ve noticed that they’re a little expensive nowadays. The way things are at the moment, any skateboard worth it’s salt is made either in the USA, or somewhere equivalent, from high grade woods, processed and laminated in a factory built JUST for skateboards, often by hand, by skaters, for skaters, with loads of pride. It’s a great system.
However, that system makes these high grade complete skateboards cost over $100 when their done. A “complete” skateboard is the deck, plus trucks, wheels, bearings, hardware, grip tape, and maybe some other extras. There are a couple of companies who make complete skateboards with lower cost significantly, but without also dropping the quality of their boards the same amount! You can find them by browsing in the internet.
Which is hard to pull off - most cheaper skateboards out there are junk. That’s it. They will give you or the person you buy them for a terrible skateboarding experience.

Executive summary about cheap skateboards complete by Johnny Sogaard
When people are beginning to skateboard, they usually make mistakes picking out their first deck. Either people buy the cheapest complete skateboard that they can find and sacrifice quality, or they buy something too good and risk making a big investment in a board they will quickly trash or get sick of. The first thing is to not buy cheap complete skateboards in a toy store before you check out a skate shop. A lot of these skateboards are little more than toys. For only 20 dollars more, you get a good quality cheap complete skateboard that will grow with you.

The great thing about cheap complete skateboards is that you can customize and change them as you get better. When your bearings were out, you can buy better bearings if you feel ready to move up. A lot of the time, people never buy new skateboards. They simply upgrade old ones one piece at a time. Toy skateboards, on the other hand, often cannot be upgraded. If you buy a slightly better board, however, you will be able to learn tricks on it before you even have to upgrade. You can even buy complete skateboards cheap in the same style as your favorite pro. Riding cheap complete skateboards that have the same appearance as the board used by your favorite skater can be inspiring.
