The Element Skateboard company was created in 1992 by Johnny Schilereff. Coming from a troubled childhood, he aspired to develop a company that intertwined his passion for skateboarding with a positive influence on today’s youth. The company is known for being dedicated to expanding and improving skateboarding to reach youth.

Element design the most radical skateboard decks offers skateboard decks with simpler graphics. The color combination is great and the designs are relatively clear. Element Skateboards is a highly successful skateboard company based in Irvine, California. It is a subsidiary of Billabong international. The company was founded by Johnny Schilleriff in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992 under the name Underworld Element. Commonly known as U.E. or Underworld, the company began to grow and change pace. So did the company name. The decision was made to drop Underworld, and it became known simply as Element.

Element Skateboards adopted the principles of martial arts and the purities that were associated with it. They wanted to separate themselves as a company from their competition by making it a universal company that all people could personally identify with. They began to focus their attention on the future of the brand; what it represented and the way the world perceived it.

In an effort to shine a positive light on the global skateboarding community, Element Skateboards created the masterful Department of Elementology. With the idea of designing innovative and quality products that promote an environmentally-friendly skate culture, Element created programs such as Elemental Awareness and Element Endangered.
